Each cottage consists of one bedroom with private bath, hot and cold water, a spacious living room, ceiling fan, screened porch, and a fully equipped kitchenette. One cottage which we jokingly call 'The Nobel Cottage' is air-conditioned and has a four poster king size bed. It is the cottage in which Derek Walcott, the 1992 Nobel Laureate for Literature spent his holidays over the years. |

Our housekeeper insures that your cottage is cleaned and bedlinen and towels are provided daily to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. You have a choice of doing your own cooking or dining out at nearby restaurants. A supermarket and laundromat are just a few minutes away. |

During your stay you can relax on our white sand beach, swim in our crystal clear waters or just watch the glorious sunset right from your cottage. La Dauphine Estate, an old cocoa plantation dating back to 18th century is situated four miles from the picturesque, old French colonial town of Soufrière. This 200 acre family plantation produces bananas, cocoa, coconuts, citrus fruits, flowers, nutmeg and a variety of vegetables. |

The La Dauphine Great House and the Chateau Laffitte, two estate houses located in the heart of this tropical plantation are nestled in a lush green hillside surrounded by luxuriant gardens, flagrant with exotic flowers. |

The La Dauphine Great House with its decorative gingerbread fretwork, jalousie windows and the wooden shutters was originally built in 1890 has been refurbished to combine old colonial charm with all the modern conveniences. |
